When decorating a large space, don’t try to cover the entire area. Use specifically placed items to help break up the space.
Our fiesta maypoles are full of colorful ribbons and details and move and dance in the breeze.
Individual items can also help create traffic patterns and help with event flow of the party.
Always remember safety and don’t create trip hazards for your guests and everything needs to be secured or weighted down in case that breeze turns into huge gusts of wind.
When I speak all over the country, my advice is that centerpieces are one of the most important event elements.

If fresh flowers aren’t in the budget, talk to your decorator about some options. They might have something fabulous in stock.
We like to use these 18 pointed glass and metal stars to refract light throughout the night. There is space for a candle inside in addition to the candles we use to surround the centerpiece.
We like to use unusual containers for centerpieces such as boots filled with Texas wildflowers or crystal chandeliers. Light boxes become magical when supporting a simple glass cube filled with colorful water pearls and floating candles.
Welcome to Texas.
We are very fortunate that so many gorgeous flowers grow wild. I love that our cities and counties try to keep from mowing over the wildflowers through the spring season. It just helps make life beautiful.
In the past, you could only get certain flowers at certain times of the year. That is not always true anymore. Since we live in such a global economy, your florist can get most anything at any time.
Blooming branches are a definite exception, but when its called for out of season, there is nothing a florist can’t and won’t do to make our clients happy.
Enjoy fresh floral arrangements. Talk to your florist about flowers and designs that give you the most bang for your buck.
